Who are we?

Justin Johnson is a 56 year old bodybuilder, still doing it and still seeing progress, how? Continually learning and honing what is done in the gym and more importantly, out side of it. A good understanding of nutrition and supplementation is key to continued success. Justin shares 35 years of knowledge on this subject through the pages of this site.

A balanced diet is one of the keys to ensuring continued development. however, a good understand of macros (Protein, Carbohydrates and Fats is a must. 

Not all protein is the same. There are 9 essential amino acids (the building blocks for repair and rebuild of muscle tissue) which must be in the food we eat.

It is extremely important to limit the intake of simplex (simple) carbohydrates to an absolute minimum except directly post workout and especially before bed.

Some fats are essential to our bodies for many functions in the body such as hormone production and the storage of many vitamins. However, many types of fat are not needed and ideally, are avoided.
